When it comes to threads, we’ve got it all stitched up. We have an incredible variety of weights, colours, and make ups to suit every application imaginable.
Rasant, Serafil, Astra, Sylko and Alcazar are just some of the big brands we have available on site. If you require an odd colour, we will split boxes and delivery is available if you prefer.
INTERFACING
Kufner textiles were founded in Munich, Germany in 1862. It has evolved to become one of the worldwide leading companies in the interfacing market. Kufner have more than 100 varieties of interfacing and over 100 patents worldwide. The complete world of fashion is serviced from Men’s wear, Ladies wear and children’s wear to the automotive and building industry. It is the only company that develops and produces all it’s interfacing (canvas, woven, knits and non woven) in house, with a focus on quality and value.
Coats supply a comprehensive range of cut away, tear away and fusible backings for a variety of uses. The I1080wc is extremely popular within the embroidery industry for its strength and soft feel. Rolls can be cut to specific widths if required.
ZIPS
The zips we sell are very dependable and represent great value for money. There is no better testimony to this than having used them in our own alterations business for many years with out any problems. We stock a comprehensive range of zips including;
- Closed end available in 50 colours and 13 sizes from 10cm to 61cm.
- Invisible zips in 21 colours and 9 sizes from 18cm to 56cm
- Open end zips in 12 colours and 10 sizes from 30cm to 90cm
- Metal jean & trouser zips in 4 colours and 6 sizes from 10cm to 25cm
Special orders for odd colours and sizes are welcome but minimum quantities do apply.
BUTTONS
We stock a good range of buttons at our showroom. Our range includes the commonly used jean and trouser buttons, shirts, and jacket buttons. While we do not stock all types, we have access to a large variety of styles and novelty designs. Simply bring in a sample and we will be more than happy to match it for you.
PAPERCRAFT
We deal in a wide range of paper products in various gsm’s, widths & lengths. Rolls and sheets are available.
Our card board weights start from 120 gsm through to 240 & 270gsm which is ideal for the dressmaking blocks. The ideal pattern tracing paper would be our 50gsm paper which comes in 300m rolls and in a variety of widths.
Samples are available for testing if required.
GENERAL HABERDASHERY
We also supply Scissors & Cutters, Markers & Mats, Rulers, Machine Parts, Pins & Needles, Trims etc. In addition, we are the authorised stockist for Sydney Sewing Supplies, Australia’s Leading Haberdashery and Craft wholesaler.
